We are a small group of volunteers who organise guided walks within the Borough of Ipswich, Suffolk’s County Town, and one of the oldest towns in England. We have all been trained as tour guides and are keen to share our knowledge of the history and culture of this fascinating East Anglian port.

On a Walk you may hear about the history of Ipswich, and about its famous residents and visitors, including Dickens, Ransome, and Cardinal Thomas Wolsey.

We are pleased to announce that Ipswich Tourist Guides Association is once again based in the town centre. Public walks led by the Ipswich Guides will now start at the Ipswich Institute in Tavern St.
